The Cornwall Council Chamber was taken over by the Institution of Civil Engineers this week when engineers from Cormac lectured on robotics in Civil Engineering before opening the floor to debate new technologies. Kemp use robotics extensively each day and were hence invited to attend and demonstrate how UAVs (drones) are used in civil engineering surveying. The debate ranged from remote demolition, 3d printing and automated traffic management implementation as well as the UAVs. An enjoyable evening was had by around thirty civil engineers from around Cornwall who of course stripped the table of Cormac’s complimentary pasties.
